The 21^st amendment repealed the 18^th amendment which ended the prohibition era and made it legal for people to ingest and distribute alcoholic beverages. This amendment is important today because alcoholic beverages and bars are huge businesses and lots of people drink alcohol. I think the only current issues with this amendment are crimes committed while on alcohol and DUI.
